Kroger Private Selection Gourmet Foods BzzCampaign!

I love great food…who doesn’t? So I am always excited to get an invite for a food related BzzCampaign! My latest food BzzCampaign was for Kroger Private Selection foods. For this campaign I received a bag of Kroger Private Selection Costa Rican Coffee and Kroger Private Selection Classic Water Crisps Crackers in the mail along with coupons for other free products to redeem at my local Kroger. My other coupons were for Kroger Private Selection Marinara, Garlic Stuffed Green Olives in Brine, and Garlic Herb Pre-sliced Deli Cheese. It took us a minute to find the cheese, but we did find it and there were a few varieties to choose from, priced regularly at our Kroger for $4.89. The marinara was easy to find near the other spaghetti sauces and there were also 4 or 5 to choose from priced at $2.89. There were 2 kinds of stuffed olives available at our store, priced at $4.39. Normally these products are kind of out of our price range, but these are gourmet foods meant for entertaining, something worth splurging for ;).

Unfortunately, when I got to the checkout, I realized I had lost my sliced cheese free coupon somewhere in the store :(, so I ended having to purchase it at the full price of $4.89! Learn from me; guard your coupons with your life hahaha. I was glad that I was able to share these foods with my family for Thanksgiving at my parent’s house. I took the olives, cheese, and crackers over with us for a snack before dinner and it wasn’t long before it was all gone. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it, as did most of my family.

I used the marinara sauce when I made spaghetti for dinner for my husband and I. My hubby really liked it; I liked it but personally did not care for all the big chunks of tomato. But that is probably because I am overall not a big fan of tomato.

Normally my husband and I drink light roast coffee, and he did not care for this coffee. I thought it was okay at first, but as I drank it a couple of days I started to change my mind to not liking it very much at all. It has a bolder flavor to it, a more coffee like flavor if that makes sense. There was a Carmel Truffle flavor mentioned in the literature that accompanied my BzzKit, which sounds really good! My husband and I were thinking about trying that flavor, but since Christmas we are the proud new owners of a Keurig coffee brewer and could not be happier!!

Overall I still very much enjoyed being a part of this BzzCampain! My family shops at Kroger often so it was a neat opportunity to try some great Private Selection foods that I may not have had the opportunity to try otherwise. I know I will at least be getting more of the olives and try another type of cheese at a time when we can afford it!

My first ever Influenster VoxBox! The Holiday one :)

I was so excited to get an e-mail from Influenster about possibly receiving a Holiday VoxBox, so I headed over and took the survey as soon as I could. I had set up an influenster account in late May or early June I believe, and had not yet gotten anything to review in what they call a “VoxBox” which contains all of your goodies. The site had recently changed the way it did things, and I was more than confused by it, but I think I am getting the hang of it now. Anyway, about a week after taking the survey I got the confirmation e-mail that I was indeed getting one J and then it just showed up a few days later.

Now, I love freebies and the ability to get things to try out and tell all my peeps about what I like and don’t like. But for being a “holiday” VoxBox, and especially being my first one, I was a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for what I did get, but things like sending me ONE little packet of a drink mix and I am supposed to do my whole review based on that one little experience kind of gets on my nerves. But I will be happy to participate since they say you might win more things based on reviews and things submitted. This is my first time, so I am not sure of how much works so far.

So what was in my VoxBox? The best and most expensive part is a new Goody Quickstyle hairbrush, which it says retails at $11.99! There was also a NYC liquid lipshine, a package of Kiss stick on nail art, a Quaker real medleys oatmeal, and one pack of pink lemonade EBOOST.
Stay tuned to see what I think of these products, I can’t wait to share with you what I experience J.

Eden Fantasys...one of my favorites ;)

*I should first mention that this posting is about Eden Fantasys, a site that should only be visited by ADULTS 18 and over*

Now it is time to tell you about one of my favorite websites to hang out on, Eden Fantasys!! First of all, they have an awesome rewards program where you can earn points for doing simple tasks such as clicking a Facebook “like” button for products, creating a comparison or wishlist and sending it to a friend, even simply searching for a product can earn you points! And you will be amazed at how fast the points seem to add up. They also have a spectacular affiliate program which I am a member of, but we won’t get into much of those details just yet...that’s for another blog ;)

Anyway, not only do they have an awesome selection of adult toys and novelties, they have a huge selection of sexy lingerie…my favorite way of instantly feeling sexy! Not only is there a lot to choose from, most of them have many reviews to read over before you make your decision if the product description doesn’t seem to tell you enough. And they are always having great sales, free gifts, and currently if you buy more than $25 worth, they will even ship it to you for free. Plus you can use my affiliate code of VR1 to save 15% on your order. Trust me; you must at least go check out the site, so many products to choose from including health and beauty stuff like lotions, body sprays and shaving cream.

Healthy Choice baked entree's

For those of you who know me and/or have been paying attention, you know that I have lost a good deal of weight and have been working to not only maintain that weightloss, but to lose a little more. One of the things I do to help stay within my calorie budget is that I no longer get fast food lunches at work, I bring in a lunch, most of the time a frozen lunch that I pop into the microwave. I have tried many varieties, but my favorites are ones (and currently the only ones I buy) are by Healthy Choice and Lean Cuisine. I am all about convenience, nutrition, and value and both meet those criteria! Both brands offer many different types of meals, but after eating them over and over they may still tend to get boring, which is why I was so happy when I saw that Healthy Choice had added a “baked” style to the meals they offered. Even better when Crowdtap picked me for a sample and share opportunity in which I would get $1.00 off coupons for me and friends :)

I have tried Four Cheese Ziti Marinara and Chicken and Rice Cheddar Bake and they were both delicious! I will definitely be adding them to my favorites and can’t wait to try the other varieties. The meals are also reasonably priced (especially with a coupon!). I love the convenience and the fact that they are already perfectly portioned with the nutrition information right there on the package.

I am very thankful to receive this offer from crowdtap, and hope to have many more opportunities like this one in the future :)
